Terms of Service

Last updated: October 14, 2026

About these terms:

These terms apply to Luce Pottery Studio's website, digital patterns, and online workshops. We are based in Saskatchewan, Canada. Contact us at [email protected] or Luce Pottery Studio, Box 651, Whitewood, Sk, S0G5C0.

Please review these terms and the specific product description before purchasing. Purchase-specific details presented at checkout form part of your agreement. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Waitlist:

Joining a waitlist is free. It does not purchase a workshop, guarantee a place, or commit you to buying. Launch dates, content, and pricing will be provided separately when available.

Digital purchases and access:

Our products are digital patterns and online workshops; no physical item is included unless expressly stated.

Each product listing specifies the files or instruction included, delivery, access duration, and relevant requirements. Downloads and workshop access are provided electronically using the details supplied at checkout. Preorders and live sessions, if offered, will have their own disclosed delivery or session dates.

Provide an accurate email address and contact us if delivery or access fails. You are responsible for a suitable device, internet access, and any disclosed software, materials, tools, or kiln access needed for the project. Materials and equipment are not included unless expressly stated.

Prices and payments:

The currency, price, applicable taxes, and any additional charges will be shown before you confirm your order. Payment is due on the terms displayed at checkout. Future price changes do not change a completed purchase.

Refund policy:

All sales of digital patterns and online workshops are final, except where a refund, cancellation, repair, replacement, or other remedy is required by applicable law. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds or exchanges, including for unused downloads or workshops you choose not to complete.

If a file is defective, access does not work, or the product supplied does not match its description, contact [email protected] so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy. This policy does not remove statutory cancellation rights or other mandatory consumer protections.

Licence and intellectual property:

Unless a product listing expressly grants broader rights, your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may download and print patterns as reasonably needed for that use.

Patterns, videos, photographs, instructions, and other materials remain the intellectual property of Luce Pottery Studio or their respective rights holders. You may not share or resell digital files, distribute copies, upload workshop content publicly, share account access, or use the materials to teach a paid class without written permission, except as permitted by law. Contact us about commercial use, including selling physical items made from a pattern.

Workshop safety and results:

Instruction is educational. Follow the safety instructions supplied with your tools, materials, glazes, adhesives, and kiln, and use appropriate ventilation, protective equipment, and supervision. Obtain qualified help when needed.

Results vary with experience, materials, equipment, firing conditions, and other factors. We do not promise identical results, income, or business success. This does not reduce our obligation to supply products and services as described or comply with applicable law.

Acceptable use and service availability:

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its security, infringe others' rights, or share access without permission. We may reasonably restrict access to address a material breach, giving notice and an opportunity to resolve it where appropriate.

Temporary maintenance or third-party outages may affect access. We will take reasonable steps to address delivery and access problems.

We will not use changes to these terms to remove purchased access or other agreed benefits contrary to the purchase agreement or applicable law.

Responsibility and disputes:

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by your misuse of materials or failure to follow applicable safety instructions. Nothing excludes responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Contact us first with a concern so we can try to resolve it. Saskatchewan law and applicable Canadian federal law govern these terms, subject to any mandatory protections and legal remedies available where you live. These terms do not require you to waive a statutory right to bring a claim.

Changes:

Updated terms apply prospectively from their published date. The terms and product details applicable when you purchase continue to govern that purchase unless we agree to a lawful change.
